I believe the best work happens where analytical rigour meets genuine care for people.
My faith is the driving force in my life. Everything I do is to serve God and love others. That conviction has shaped every career move, every venture, and every early morning training run.
I am shaped by the idea of redemptive entrepreneurship: the conviction that business can be a force for creative restoration. Inspired by the thinking of Praxis, I believe ventures should go beyond ethical compliance to actively redeem what is broken. Broken systems, broken access, broken data. That is the lens through which I build.
From almost the first day I used AI, I have been certain of where this goes. It is the thing I am most passionate about, and helping people adopt it, then watching what it does for them, is what gets me ticking.
This technology is going to change the world. My purpose is to make sure AI contributes to human flourishing, and not the opposite.
Why I do this
Alongside that sits a simpler conviction: AI without data is just a fancy demo. That is why PeopleRadar and the wider Radar group exist, to solve the data problem so the AI has something real to stand on. I left the comfortable corporate actuarial life at PwC because I saw fragmented workforce data causing real harm. Payroll leakage, invisible absenteeism patterns, decisions made in the dark. We redeem those broken data systems by giving organisations clear, actionable intelligence. In the NPO sector, we help organisations measure and understand their impact, consolidating scattered reporting into something that tells the real story of the difference they are making.
Fluent is where the other half of that conviction lives. We are building the world's most trusted AI enablement partner, and AI training is one of the main ways we do it. We have trained more than 15 companies across financial services, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, mining and more. The technology is already there. The gap is judgment, and the willingness to stay in the room until it is actually being used.
I am South African to my core. I love this country: its mountains, its people, its complexity, and its potential. I want to build things here that matter.

I am a sinner saved by grace. Nothing I have achieved can be attributed to my own brilliance. It is all God. I believe deeply in the power of the local church, and I prioritise serving wherever I can. From outreach missions in Lesotho and the Transkei to LIV Village in Durban, my faith is not something I hold. It holds me.
Above everything, I value people, family and relationships. The best ideas, the hardest races and the most meaningful work: none of it matters without the people you share it with.
I love nature and adventure. There is nothing like exploring God's creation on foot or on a bike. I am an avid runner, trail runner and triathlete. Life is either a great big adventure or nothing at all.
I aspire to live a simple life and find joy in the small things. A good bottle of red wine at the fire with friends. A sunrise and sunset swim. Escaping the city to find God in the quiet.
